Hoop Classic Friday Night

Welcome to our 2nd Annual Hoop Classic Friday Night.  Inspired by the NBA All Star Saturday Night activities.  The Crandall University Hoop Classic are hosting a Skills Challenge, 3 Point Contest and a Dunk Contest.  See below for each competition’s explanation.

The skills challenge will incorporate the 3 main offensive skills:  Dribbling, Passing and Shooting.  Players will run through a designed course that will require them to execute the 3 skills mentioned above in a timed event.

One Player from each of the teams in the tournament will participate in the NXT Level Basketball Skills Challenge.  After all Players have run through the course, the 3 Players with the fastest time will advance to the Final round.

The Player with the fastest time in the Final Round will be declared the winner.

The 3 Point Contest will give the Participate to take 27 shots in 70 seconds.  There will be 5 racks of 5 balls each.  On 4 of the racks there will be 4 balls worth 1 point each and one “money ball” worth 2 points.  The 5th rack will consist of 5 “money balls” each worth 2 points.  In addition, there will be 2 long range shots, both worth 3 points each.

Players will go through the racks in sequence and it will be there choice for the rack of full “money balls”.

One Player from each of the teams in the tournament will participate in the NXT Level Basketball 3 Point Contest.  After all Players have shot in round 1, the 3 Players with the highest totals will advance to the Final round.

The Player with the highest total in the Final Round will be declared the winner.

Each participant in the Adored Beast Slam Dunk Contest will have 2 preliminary round dunks.

Our five esteemed Judges will score each attempt from – for a maximum score of 5 on each dunk.

The top three combined scores out of the preliminary round will advance to the Final Round where each dunker will have two more chances to put on a show.

The best combined score in that round is your champion!

In any round, a tie score to advance or win will be decided by a dunk-off.
